KINGDOM CITY KIDS

KCC Kids isn’t just a babysitting service so the adults can go to “real church.” We believe kids can encounter Jesus just like the adults. Jesus Himself said it was the Father’s joy and pleasure to “reveal the Kingdom to little children” (Matthew 11:25). If that’s true, then we want to our kids’ Sunday experience to be fueled by that expectation.

We will teach the Bible comprised of both the Old and New Testament Scriptures. We believe knowing and understanding the entire Story of God in its proper context and how it all points to Jesus and His Kingdom is foundational to a life of healthy, growing discipleship.

We will make space for kids to engage one another through activities and conversation. We want to do this with healthy boundaries and in a safe environment, of course, but we think kids need community too!

We will prioritize fun in all of our environments and spaces. If it’s true that Jesus’ Kingdom is “good news of great joy for all people” (Luke 2:10), then we think a gathering of His people (and their kids) should reflect and communicate that! Whether it’s music, activities, play, or lessons, we want it all to be fun and engaging.

We want parents and families to have confidence that their kids are safe and protected during gatherings.  Every child will be under the care of trained, approved, and background-checked adults. There will be onsite security ensuring the area is only accessible to approved personnel. We view this as a true partnership respecting any boundaries and/or guidelines communicated by families as well as receiving and responding to any feedback or suggestions to increase our impact.
