KINGDOM CITY COMMUNITIES

Communities are the primary way we build and grow relationships together as a church. The primary image for the church in the Bible is that of a family. While the whole church can be seen as your extended family, you need an immediate family. Communities are designed to be that for you. Kingdom City Communities eat together, encourage one another, pray for each other, and help each other follow Jesus together. They also practice missional hospitality, engaging their local context and generously inviting others (regardless of spiritual maturity) to connect with their community.

CORE COMMUNITIES

CORE Communities are self-organized small groups designed to gather 4-6 people of the same gender to intentionally pursue Jesus together. Our hope is that these communities provide an accessible way of discipling one another through meaningful, accountable relationships with others in the church. Throughout the New Testament you see a calling for us to “encourage and build one another up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11) and to “stir one another up to love and good works” (Hebrews 10:24-25). This is something we do together—with and for another—as God uses us in one another’s lives to increasingly conform us to the image of Jesus for the sake of the world.
